My 1989 230E is hesitating and sometimes stalling because the potentiometer has scratches on it.
First of all I need to make sure if the car has the original potentiometer.
Can anyone confirm the part number on the 230E engine ?

The part number of my cars potentiometer is 3 437 224 031.
I have tried searching for this part number but it seems like the part number has been replaced (updated).
Are there potentiometers with different part numbers I could use on my car?
