1983 power steering pump interchangability.
For the 1983 240D
Daughter needs a new power steering pump, its leaking and I'm running out of time so I thought I would get one at Autozone, $128.00 with a lifetime warrentee. I have the ZF pump, The manual also discusses the Vickers pump.
Are the 2 interchangable. If AutoZone gets a Vickers in for me, is it OK and will it work? Or do I need a ZF for this car.
