Hatterasguy hit the mark! I had to convert my 82 380 to dbl row t-chain and head gaskets too. When all said and done, I spent about 3500$ doing all work myself. An investmest now knowing I will be able to put another 100k on a vehicle w/ 128k on the clock. Rock solid machine! A good thing about most of the early w126 is that they don't have the hydro suspensions and intricate electronics: abs, asr, airbags. Also 21.5 mpg respectively. les
