Are you sure that the big round connector and all of the other connectors are on correctly? There are two or three smaller connectors that could be put in wrong or not seated all the way.

As for the climate control light, the only connection I remember for that is the two rectangular connections. They are either not in correctly, or you have a burned out bulb(s.)
