The teil # is the part number. I agree it is more than likely a 615 engine based on this, and if it made it's way from a US car, more than likely a 2.2 (220D, as the 200D wasn't offered in the US market). The story behind the 615010 is that this is a part number, not the engine number, so the "010" means parts group 01, (engine). Just like a 820 is Gp 82, for example.
You should be able to locate the stamped in engine number someplace, not sure where on the block it is.
