Hello!
I've got bad news and worse news.
Bad news: I found that it looks like my a/c compressor clutch has partially come apart.
Worse news: I'm currently in the Mojave Desert
I can't get a good look at it at the moment, but it looks like there are 3 rivets or so holding the clutch to whatever it bolts on to

, and one or two of them have broken. This is leaving the clutch sitting there, but off-center, and it won't engage. Fortunately, it didn't take the belt or the pulley with it when it went.
Other than this, my a/c's been working as well as an R-134a conversion can (
AFAIK, at least), other than a slight leak. So, I don't particularly want to take the compressor out unless I absolutely have to.
So, does anyone know if it's possible to replace the clutch while the compressor's installed on the engine? What tools are needed? (I'm assuming a puller of sorts, but how does it go back on?)
Thanks in advance!
