Okay, you guys helped me with the replacement of my Blower motor, now something a bit more challenging.

88 300E. My cruise control has never worked since I bought the car 10 years ago. Did all 300E's come with Cruise Control? I have the Cruise Control arm control on the steering column so I assume it has cruise. Also, the rear power windows and the cigarette lighter have never worked either. Are all these things connected in some way? I have of course verified all fuses. What's up? Where do I start?

Bonus question. Is there supposed to be a back light for the shift indicator on the console? The power seat buttons light up at night, but not the shift indicator.
