72 280 SE 4.5 (M117)

Looking to remove the crank hub from the crank shaft.
Balancer and pulley are OFF.

Can I use a generic harmonic balancer remover/puller ?

Reason:
Suspect woodruf key is sheared - balancer is WAY off
(Showind 60 deg advanced when CAM and wooden dowel show TDC).
