Fairly simple to rebuild the compressor body, takes the right tools to do the front seal properly, however. And get OE parts from Toyota (about the only place to get OE denso parts), not an aftermarket kit. The body kit lists for ~$80, same for the front seal kit.

Compressor body splits somewhat easily after removing front allen bolts, just remove the front end down to the shaft, and remove keyway CAREFULLY, so you don't ruin the front seal. I think the rebuild info is in the 124CH Climate Control manual; if not there, it's in one of that vintage of manuals.
