I see lots of BMWs going cheap. The owners beat the $hit out of them and they start falling apart. Every road is the Indy 500 for some of the wannabee stunt drivers who drive them. The most dangerous drivers on the road here on Houston's congested freeways is some young guy in a Beemer doing stunt driving in heavy traffic. We scrape them off the road here all the time.
