Aussies may be a bit different on the routine maintenance sheet. Check you rown info. I believe starting with the W211 chassis they went 15 years...well, at least they're not saying "filled for life"!
There is a drain on the bottom of the radiator, need to remove the lower panels to see it, plus you'd want them off to drain it anyways. The block drain is on the right side of the block, has a hex-shaped hole which the coolant drains out of, and also the hex-shape is used to insert an allen socket to loosen it (open it). It's usually a grayish-bluish color.
