From the opening moments of "Apocolypse Now"

"Saigon ...... [expletive deleted]!

Then from "Casablanca, there is -- "I am shocked -- SHOCKED -- that there is gambling in this establishment!" Said by Major Renault, as he simultaneously takes his payoff.

Then, I also love the scene in the offbeat movie "Down By Law" where three people are in a small, windowless jail cell together, going stir crazy. They all hate each other.

One of them is an annoying Italian tourist -- who proceeds to draws a window on the wall of the jail cell.

Then he asks his cell mates, "Jack... Zack... how do you say? I look AT the window, or I look THROUGH the window?'

There is a scary, violence filled silence.

And then one of the cell mates replies, "Well, BOB, in this case I guess you'd have to say we look AT the window!!!"

The scene ends. It is unclear whether they beat the guy up.

One of the great moments of sarcasm in cinema history.
