2 months ago I developed a symptom at idle of the dash lights dimming immediately followed by dropping and abruptly recovering revs, regardless of AC operation. It was determined the alternator was bad, and indeed the voltage was very low. Well, 2 months later, it's doing it again. 5 times in 30 seconds at a stoplight yesterday. What gives?
