I chose a DualPro XL charger for my boat because it actually shuts off when the batteries are charged. It doesn't turn back on unless the voltage drops below a certain level. It's safe for my agm batteries, too. I don't know anything about the features of the two chargers/maintainers you're looking at, but a full and real automatic shutoff and monitor feature is a real plus.
