I removed the fan when doing this job. I didn't have the tool to hold the fan, but it would have made the job easier.

Make sure you have the tool to hold the balancer in place, or you'll have he!l trying to remove it, nevermind torquing the new bolt with any accuracy. My dealer told me 400 ft-lbs, but he said his techs have regular 250 ft-lb torque wrenches too. They go to 250 and add a tug. 95 degrees seems like way too much. Some blue Loctite couldn't hurt.
