Driving home the other day on the interstate the cruise control on my 1996 E300D kicked off. Simultaneously, the speedometer quit working and went to zero while the ETS and the ABS lights came on. I kept going and after about 60 seconds, the lights went off and the speedometer began working. The cruise control, however, no longer works. I have occasionally gotten the ETS warning before, but it resets itself. Any Ideas on what could have caused this and what might be wrong with the cruise control now? Thanks in advance!!
