The picture below is the Automatic Climate Control unit from a '95 E300 D W124 Body.

Underneath the two little silver square foils, one of which I removed accidentally, I discovered two working light bulbs. These are seemingly useless, since they don't light-up anything. Does anyone know why these are there?
