NO

The regulator is near the dip stick and has a vac hose attached.
If the hose is leaking , the reg does not work and can pop one of the codes you are getting.
It also can have a leaking diaphram , which lets gas go through the vac line,.
into the engine. Again, popping one of the codes .
Take the vac line off and see if evidence of gas ..should be none.
Look for vac leaks ... as per previous post.
