If you are going to store the car for 4 months then put a trickle charger on it and/or remove the battery as has been previously suggested. Complete discharge = death to any lead acid battery. Even deep cycle batteries are only resistant to this up to a point. This is the most important thing to know about lead acid batteries. Keep them charged up and they will last a long time. If you let it go to zero then it is a goner.
