For 397.00 I bet you would get a rebuild. I have gone thru two rebuilds, the first I installed was not much better than the worn out one I was replacing (Had to car would not pas state inspection...bad...really bad) The car still had over an 1.5 inch of play. I called the rebuilder and they sent me another rebuild (and I had to pay a 150.00 core charge for), which I have not been able to install yet, but after talking to them I'm not sure it's going to be much better.

My suggestion would be to live with the one you got, or if it bothers you enough or is dangerous buy a *new* one and install it yourself if money is an issue.
