That is a lot of play.
For steering play:
Check the two rag joints, one by the gearbox and one below the dash.
use a strong flashlight and have someone turn the wheel back and forth, not more than 90 degrees, with engine off.
If either one shows visible flex or cracking, replace both.

For the pull:
You have one or more bad part.
Take it to the stealership for alignment, the inspection will spot bad parts and may save your life.
