The best filter is the one that Mercedes makes for it. I used a filter from pep-boys once, my oil pressure was ok, but not what it was before. I replaced it just out of fear of oil flow restriction. Also as most anything these days they are made overseas and you can't be too sure about the quality. Don't take a chance with that wonderful machine, always use the MB part, and you will be sure not to have any pre-mature failures.
