Two mufflers. Center is smaller and does less to muffle the sound.

It's not legal to have the exhaust end under the car, I'm sure, so you would have to make pipes to the rear or out the sides. May still not be legal, I'm not in any way certain of Texas laws. It's not smart, at any rate, to allow the exhaust to terminate under the car, you are going to be breathing way too much carbon monoxide.

You will not want to do this -- the drone from front muffler only will completely overpower the radio, it's SERIOUSLY loud (as in open pipe loud).

New pair of mufflers isn't that much, and they are pretty easy to install.
