I just replaced both half axles with rebuilds from FastLane at $200 each. My car has 138k miles and had a bothersome vibration under tourque load. The new axles have made a significant difference in the ride of my car and was money well spent. Before doing this I spent a good bit of money on other drivetrain parts with little impact on the vibration. Only question I have is whether I should have bitten the bullet and purchased new half axles instead of the rebuilt ones.
