Primer pump?

There is no leaking of fuel in the engine compartment. But it is on my list to find the primer pump and check it closely. We did own a 123 years ago and there was the primer pump that you actually unscrewed and pumped. The one on the 124 is self priming isn't it? Just doublechecking because each time I change out the fuel filters it takes forever to start up and if I should be priming it I need to start.
I should have figured there would be rubber lines at the fuel tank end of the delivery system. Looks like all new rubber in the engine compartment. It all is marked from NAPA and I was sure that was not original equipment. So I will start from the other end and change out those line first and work my way to the engine.

whunter, I really appreciate your patience and advice.
