The post concerns the operation of the "acc" fan. It is my interpretation that the "Auxilary fan" is what we have been talking about. This fan is both an AC cooling fan and an engine cooling fan. As pointed out its first purpose is usually cooling the AC with the side benefit of cooling the engine.
On other cars it is called a condenser fan as it blows directly onto the condenser.
