Hi, I was wondering the same thing and will be eager to see the reply on this thread. The lower cladding on the front passenger's door of my 91 300E isn't quite flush with the rest of the cladding on that side of the car. It sticks out about 1/4" at the bottom compared to the other pieces, and though I can push it back in and flush it usually pops back out within a couple days. The other day I laid on my back under the door to figure out what was going on, and discovered 3 or 4 of the plastic clips are broken at the bottom (the top is flush so I'm assuming those clips are fine). I will need to replace the bottom clips before this piece catches on someone's pant leg and comes off for good, but I too have no idea how to remove the panel safely without scratching the paint.

I'm eager to see a reply from the experienced members here, as well as a suggestion on the best place to get the clips (perhaps dealer?) and possible prices. Thanks everyone!
