I really hope a few with the attitude don't wander over to the GM or Ford boards I'm on, no one there takes any of that. Okay got the thinner for winter, thicker for summer. I'll probably run some syn... I do in my Z71 and WRX. I've been with the Mobil 1 5/30 in those for the longest time. Great luck with their oils.
I've heard diesel motor oil can go longer between changes, could you expect 5K mi on dino oil? Perhaps 10K on syn (with a filter change at 5K mi)?
