SE in '73 would be a W108/109 chassis, in 74 would have been a W116, but no US model had fuel injection on the M110 until 76.

However, I think the badges will fit....

The 280 W114 chassis was not fuel injected in the US, but I'd take a look -- if it has K-Jetronic (fuel distributor and metal lines to injectors), it's a later model engine installed in the '73 body. If it has D-jetronic (wires to the injectors with a metal line manifold), it's a euro spec '73.

Either way, if it runs and isn't rusty, it's a nice car.
