Sorry to interrupt your turbo discussion. I just wanted to give a follow-up on my mod on the non-turbo. No problems after about 1500 miles. Performance seems smooth, no loss of power in any range, and mpg about the same. Observation of the EGR Valve reveals that it opens at idle and when engine is cold started. Above about 1300-1500 rpm it closes and seems to stay closed when engine is reved above this (don't know if it stays that way at upper end). No cel. Rechecked the intake and it is staying clean as expected. I did not clean the intake flutter valves, as they were working fine, but will probably do that at a later date when the spirit moves me. Any comments from the others who made this (test).
