I need to replace the torque links on both W124 chassis cars and have a dumb question:

Which way does the new one go in? The old one is symetrical, both ends the same. The new one (from the 210 chassis, I think) has one end with a "fishtail" cutaway on it -- does it go inside, outside, or does it matter? I don't have a 210 chassis handy to take a looksee.
