i just finished installing an ACCEL Super Coil in my 87 300E. WOW, what a difference. first thing i noticed is it started right up. no delay. the engine also has a different tone to it at idle. (i imagine it sounded like that when it was new.) second, it has no tremble to it at idle anymore, none at all! there is no noticable added performance but im shure i got a few HP's back that i was lacking.
i would highly recommend this coil to anyone who plans on replacing thier stock ignition. i did need to make a bracket for this to work. i will post some pics as soon as i get my digital back.
