Hello again, alternatively, I was wondering if there is a way I can apply power to the antenna (perhaps with jumper wires?) in order to have it power up and extend the antenna, then disconnect power and leave the antenna in the upright position? This way, I could at least get a radio signal even if I don't have automatic up/down capability.
