82 300D A/C smell

I found the area you are talking about. The foam tube was deteriorated. I replaced it with a piece of rubber tubing. I ran a wire up the drain area before replacing the hose, it came out clean but I believe it is still messed up in there. I don't guess there is anyway to get a dry-vac up in there somehow and remove the water and debris, is there? I think the problem is gunk up in the plastic casing where the drain is located. I would probably have to take the dash and everything else out to get to it. That is beyond my expertise and patience level! It does drain out the bottom of the car, but it is very intermittant.
