95 w124 new voltage regulator now wont start
quick history of the past 2 weeks:
ASR light came on then car immediately went to limp mode.
pulled TBA and replaced with rebuilt and fount TBA not the problem, it was just getting overloaded(?)
instead replaced voltage regulator, then put the old TBA back in after cleaning.
last night parked at a friends for game 1 and left the parking lights on (intentionally) due to where I was parked. went back to the car and after running about 1 minute the tach, oil guage, gas guage and temp guage stopped working accompanied by a steady buzz. car continued to run and the speedo was functional so I drove it home. All headlights, etc were working.
now car is in the drive and will not start. there is a kaleidescope of warning lights and all interior lights come on. headlights etc. I have gone through the fuses but cannot find a problem there.
my question: could this be related to the voltage regulator/ASR problem. It seems like it could be the OVP.
Any thoughts?
