i shimmed it. then i caulked it. the friday night caulk job dissolved in the rain. the next day vast streams of whiteish fluid came washing over us. the seats were wet and carpeting soaked. today the car sits in the garage(first of our cars in it is 6 years) and the caulk is drying fine.
