Hi Gang,

I just purchased a nice 1992 190E with the 2.3L 4 cylinder engine. I am new to MB vehicles and have some questions.

The car has 117,000 miles on the odometer but seems to be in very nice shape. The engine / trans do not leak any fluids and it gets about 21 mpg city.

I have no idea about the maintenance history; do I need to do any manditory maintenance such as timing chain etc. to keep this engine alive?
