I pulled the metal tube out on the driver side that goes into the heater core today and replaced the rubber gasket. It was still leaking on that side somewhere so I ended up bypassing the whole assembly from under the hood.
How hard is it to replace the core and does anyone know where I can find a cheap one? Also has anyone used one of those little 12 volt heaters for your cigarette lighters, and if so do they work at all?
I live in KY and winters get really cold here so I need to figure something out soon.Thanks
