my mbz has about 350k miles and all of a sudden the idiot lights on the right hand side under the tach all light up and the car dies, will not turn over a bit. replaced battery, it was drained and replaced the alt. with the new alt the car started and ran for a few miles and the issue repeated itself. replaced the diode/pickups on the alt and was good for another few miles and it died again and will not restart. help!
