Lets add to this post.

In the Haynes manual they show quite abit of different electrical schematics based on the country of origin of the car. And if you look at the different schematics you can determine that some deliveries allow parking lights and fog lights. I have not analyzed the detail of the schematics to determine whether it is the switch or the wire harness that allows this. so if you want to allow fog lights with parking lights. Review the schematics and figure it out.

I did love the 300SDL's ability to have just the parking lights and the fog lights.
