Perhaps I should just order the gasket and a new primer pump. Then take the lift pump from my garage queen. (I still refuse to call it a parts car, although due to the parts I've stolen off it its no longer driveable.) That way I'll at least be able to get the car back on the road the same day. And if I need a lift pump, I can wait for it to arrive. I just hate doing a job twice. Or in this case it would be 3 times. Since if I needed new lift pump, the new one would go on the car thats being driven every day and not my 'parked car'.
