Just got a call from the dealership. The car won't be ready until tomorrow. The reason is that they have one technician who worked on these cars back when they were new and they like him to work on the older ones. He got busy on something else today and can't get to it. They said they have other techs that could do it but they just prefer to use him because of his experience. I think they were mostly concerned about him doing the alignment. I took that as a really good sign. It sounds like they really care about my car and giving me good service.
