I just checked my owners manual and there isn't anything in there about that setting (that I could find). All I can tell you is there is a diagnostic mode for the climate control unit which involves something like holding down the rest button for 10 seconds. However I don't know much more than that. Also I don't know if that would be a way to change this setting. Worst case I'm sure the dealer can switch it back.
