If we were to be driving in our rural country areas (locally known as "kampungs"), and if we were to hit a chicken (you may also read "farmdog") belonging to a fmaily living there - local custom dictates that we are obliged to buy another chicken to replace the killed one.

But we rarely see this happening now coz the new highway runs express from A to B and no longer through kampungs.
