Mercedes wiper linkage rarely give any trouble, usually the soft alloy wiper arm
cracks due to fatigue OR the base cone fitting gets wiped out.

LOL.. naw I would have gotten confirmation on that first.. it just didn't really want to budge at first. I'm glad thatit was just the nut that was loose.. I magine replacing the motors to really be difficult.
