I saw a 300td on ebay and decided I would email the seller just to check how honest they might be.

The car has those replated chrome wheels and if you notice the gauges when the car is running the oil pressure sits awfully low. In the photo the car isn't warmed up and the oil gauge is sitting at the 1.5 bar.

The seller replies with "The chrome wheels are original as that was a factory option for that year. When fully warmed up, the oil pressure gauge sits exactly in the middle and then pegs when revved."

So, take a look and notice how cold the motor is and the oil reading. And the chrome wheels? Yeah, right. They'll peel in a year.
