Actually, my local dealer was the one that recommended that I find an indie shop, as it would save me money. The service advisor told me that the book rate to pull and reinstall the tranny was 7hrs labour + whatever parts and labour were for the piston at the MB tranny shop. This is actually the first time my car has been worked on away from the dealer(But, definitely not the last
), as my dealer has always been very reasonable. This indie I found is also very reasonable, but a hell of a lot cheaper
