IMHO Continentals are pretty good, at least for what you pay for them. The vibration could be any number of things, including improper tire balancing - not all places can do this right, or well enough to satisfy picky drivers (same goes for alignments). A way to check this is to swap/rotate tires and see if the vibration changes.
