Those are very popular songs but they seem awfully generic to anglo/american pop culture. It just depends what group of people you are asking in your survey.
I myself would vote the last decade remake of bittersweet symphony as number one at this point. Love Ella Fitzgerald. Sinatra of course. Country music when it isn't stupid or twangy. (Yes Randy Traivs destroyed coutry for decades just as Bush is setting america back decades)
