I find it about 50/50 - half the time the CD is more helpful, half the time the Haynes manual is more helpful, and it's nice to have both. The Haynes manual of course does not cover V8s and CD is generally more comprehensive. I flipped through the 124 bible once for a few minutes and saw no reason to buy it.
